Profile

I qualified as a registered pharmacist in 1999. I have worked clinically in NHS hospital cancer services for over 15 years before moving to University of East Anglia to undertake a PhD. My PhD focused on developing an intervention to facilitate primary care practitioners to support older people to self-manage long-term problems after cancer treatment.

I am registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, am a member of the Research Committee of the British Oncology Pharmacy Association and an active member of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology.

Research

I have experience of undertaking both qualitative and quantitative research. As part of my PhD I gained experience of doing realist reviews and using a co-design approach to develop a self-management support intervention aimed at primary care healthcare practitioners.
