I currently manage the various workshops in the College of Science & Engineering. This is mainly engineering manufacture within the School of Engineering, School of Chemistry & Physics & Astronomy, to include the state of the art Precision Manufacture Facility at Space Park Leicester. We also offer a Scientific Glass Blowing Facility and an Electronic Workshop in the school of Chemistry.

The manufacture facilities cater for both teaching and research purposes. Providing bespoke precision manufactured components for Engineering, Space Research & Chemistry experiments.

Engineering have a dedicated Student Worksop where students will spend time learning various hand skills and manufacture techniques. The workshop is equipped with the latest technologies and provides an excellent base for understanding manufacture complexities during the design stage.
