Volunteer

The Library offers opportunities to volunteer in a range of activities and projects. These are intended to be rewarding and enjoyable, enabling our volunteers to gain new skills, knowledge, and experience that will benefit them as individuals.

Our volunteers add value to the services provided, and projects managed, by the Library, enhancing and enriching our the work. 

The Library recognises that some people encounter barriers to participating in voluntary activity, and is committed to developing inclusive opportunities that support the recruitment and retention of a diverse range of volunteers from within and outside of the University of Leicester.

Volunteering opportunities are open to those over the age of 18 only and will be open to University of Leicester students, and most will be accessible to members of the general public.
