About this event
With a background in Nursing and Health Services Management, Professor Deborah Price moved into an academic career after completing her MBA at the University of Leicester in 1995. She subsequently gained her PhD, and has worked at the Open University and De Montfort University before returning to the University of Leicester. Deborah has taught Organisational Behaviour, Management, Organisational Change and Human Resource Management to all levels of students and across the world, as well as having supervised a number of PhD students to completion.
Having previously been the Director of Distance Learning, she is now the Head of Management within the University of Leicester School of Business. Having taken an atypical route into academia, in this inaugural lecture Deborah will draw on her own lived experiences to show how these have evolved into a commitment to enabling access to higher education and a determination to promote the affordance of experiential learning.
