Clearing Accommodation Open House

10.00 am – 3.00 pm

The University of Leicester’s Clearing Open House gives Clearing applicants and offer holders the chance to explore campus and accommodation, meet student ambassadors and support teams, and learn more about university life. Visitors can tour key facilities, ask questions, and receive help with accommodation and application arrangements.

About this event

If you have applied to us through Clearing this is your opportunity to take a look around, you can:

  • Explore the wide range of accommodation at our two locations, The Village and The City
  • Meet some of the helpful staff who make our accommodation so great, and ask any questions you have
  • Join a tour of campus with a friendly student ambassador who can show you places such as the Library, the Students' Union and much more
  • There will also be opportunity to meet a range of our University Support and Services, so you can get a feel for your exciting new home.

Our staff will be on hand throughout the day and will even help you with your application whilst you are here, so you can secure a room that’s right for you.

Travelling to the University

If you are coming by car:

  • Parking at The City is in our multi-storey car park, which has a £2.75 charge for the day (LE2 7TF).
  • Parking at The Village is in Stamford Court Car Park and is free (LE2 2LH).
  • The University runs a shuttle bus that you can use to go between the two locations if you prefer.
