2013

Cottesmore: The Living Village was a project led by Cottesmore History & Archeology Group. It produced a range of outputs showing how the village of Cottesmore had grown and changed over the previous 150 years. Awarded a grant of £5,900 by the National Lottery Heritage fund. 

2007

When the Gwash Valley was flooded in the mid-1970s, Rutland Water became England’s largest man-made lake set in the country’s smallest county. An area of water created as a reservoir and initially strongly opposed has become a major tourist attraction internationally recognised for its wildlife. The Heritage of Rutland Water, a community project led by Rutland Local History & Record Society, investigated, document and publicise the changing heritage of this area. The project was awarded a grant of £24,591 by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
