East Midlands Regional Account for Clinical Researchers (EM-RACR)
What Are We Looking For?
EM-RACR is seeking talented and motivated healthcare professionals who would benefit from dedicated protected research time and are committed to developing a clinical academic career. We are looking for individuals with the passion and potential to contribute to discovery and innovation research while building the foundations for future academic leadership.
Ready to take the next step in your clinical academic career? Applications for the first EM-RACR fellowship round open on 2 October and close on 30 October. Following shortlisting in November, successful applicants will be notified in mid-December and invited to interview in January.
Alongside prospective fellows, we are also keen to hear from experienced researchers and supervisors from across the East Midlands who are interested in supporting the next generation of clinical academics. Whether you have a high-quality research project that would benefit from dedicated researcher time over the next 12 months, or you would like to contribute as a mentor or supervisor, we welcome your involvement.
A key ambition of EM-RACR is to connect talented individuals with outstanding projects, supervisors and research environments across the region. By fostering collaboration between universities, healthcare organisations and established researchers, we aim to increase access to opportunities that may not otherwise be available within a person's own organisation. Through these partnerships, EM-RACR will help strengthen the clinical academic community across the East Midlands and support the development of future research leaders.
