East Midlands Regional Account for Clinical Researchers (EM-RACR)
Partners
EM-RACR is a collaborative partnership spanning the East Midlands, bringing together the Universities of Leicester, Nottingham and Lincoln, alongside their associated NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations. A central aim of the programme is to strengthen regional research capacity through collaboration, ensuring that healthcare professionals can access expertise, opportunities and support across institutional boundaries.
By fostering a connected regional network, EM-RACR encourages individuals to develop research collaborations with leading experts wherever they are based within the East Midlands. For example, a healthcare professional who has completed postgraduate research in Leicester may wish to continue developing their academic career with specialist mentors or research groups in Nottingham or Lincoln.
The programme is designed to facilitate these connections, enabling participants to work with the most appropriate collaborators, access wider research expertise and benefit from the diverse strengths of partner organisations across the region. Through this collaborative approach, EM-RACR aims to create a vibrant and supportive clinical academic community that promotes innovation, knowledge sharing and career development across the East Midlands.
