Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training

ILTT currently work with two forward-thinking and innovative Teaching School Alliances (TSAs) to provide the training and knowledge you need to become an outstanding teacher, which will enable you to deliver an outstanding education to children.

ILTT work with Affinity TSA, who have a partnership of over 50 primary schools across Leicestershire where you could be placed for your training year. All partnership schools are recognised for their experience in supporting trainee teachers and are quality-assured by ILTT to ensure they provide you with the best possible training experience.

By choosing to work with ILTT you can specialise in either a general primary (5-11 years) or early years (3-7 years) course.

Both courses offer you the opportunity to undertake Masters-level study, assessment and accreditation whilst being predominantly based in the classroom. ILTT work with the University of Leicester to deliver your teacher training. The course includes a PGCE qualification and 60 Masters-level credits, which you could use to achieve an MA in Education after you graduate.

Learning is designed to draw upon and extend the training you receive in school. You can access materials and continually develop your understanding of practice throughout the year, not just for the days that you are at the University.
