Positive Adaptation to Compound Risk: Learning about Mental Health Resilience from African Emerging Adults
Funder: British Academy
Lots of risks jeopardise the mental health of emerging adults (people aged 18-29) living in township settings in South Africa. This project worked with 60 young people from a structurally disadvantaged township to co-produce diary and interview data to help us develop a better understanding of what might help young people cope when the circumstances around them are particularly difficult.
