Leicester was awarded 6 ACFs for 2024. Only post 5 remains vacant – Multiple Long Term Conditions (Geriatrics, Renal Medicine or General Practice) and is being re-advertised with interviews planned for June 2024. Ideally an appointee will be able to commence on 7 August 2024 with the other 5 postholders to enable the appointee to attend the September induction event, however commencement is permitted up to and including 31 March 2025.
The term ‘multiple long-term conditions’ (MLTC) refers to the co-existence of two or more chronic conditions (physical or mental) in a person. In medical and research circles, this has often been referred to as 'multimorbidity'.
