English Language Teaching Unit

TESOL Taster

This Taster session is for University of Leicester staff and students, who are interested in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

The aim of these sessions is to give participants an introductory idea of what Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) involves for both learners and teachers; what knowledge and skills an ELT teacher needs and whether it’s something that you would like to do in the future

The sessions will be very practical with demonstrations of techniques and methodologies as well as an opportunity to try out some of the ideas in peer teaching slots.
