Ruth Fraser
Ruth is now a retired health professional, mother of 2 adult daughters plus 1 granddaughter and has been an active Quaker for over 40 years.
She worked for Quakers in South India as a health professional and in Sri Lanka as a peacekeeper. More recently in the US, over 17 years, she worked for American Friends Service Committee around social change and Friends Committee on National Legislation (the Quaker voice on Capitol Hill), before returning to the UK in 2013.
While in America she met the storytelling community and has been a semi-professional storyteller for 20 years, both teaching and performing.
