Notice board

The Garden grounds and toilets are open

  • The Botanic Garden re-opened to visitors, following the closure owing to Covid, on 4 May 2021. The toilet facilities are also open. However, please note that the greenhouses will remain closed for the time being.
  • Please follow the Covid code of conduct (posted at the gates) when you do go to the Garden.
  • The horticultural staff have worked valiantly to restore the Garden after its 13-month closure, but this work is ongoing so please indulge us while it goes on: not everywhere will look at its best!
