Our archaeologists have particular strengths in prehistoric, Greek, Roman, medieval, historical, landscape and scientific archaeology, while our ancient historians specialise in the cultures, landscapes, economies, politics and reception of the Greek and Roman world. Staff in both disciplines collaborate closely, and the Mediterranean world is particularly well-covered in our research and teaching.
