School of Business

Bespoke courses for your organisation

Our bespoke courses are tailored to meet the professional development needs of your workforce.

Whether you’re looking for a short course on consumer behaviour for your sales team or a longer series of workshops on employee engagement for your line managers, we are skilled in developing effective programmes to meet your needs.

Programmes can be delivered as stand-alone elements or in any combination in areas including but not limited to: operations management, logistics and supply chain management, marketing, strategy, innovation management, human resource management, human resource development and training, sustainable management, economics, finance and accounting, and risk and business continuity management.

Our courses can be studied in-person, by distance learning or via blended learning, providing the flexibility required to fit participation around your company’s needs and priorities.

In order to provide you with the right programme, we typically undertake a development needs analysis for your learners at the pre-contract stage. All our executive education programmes involve a joint School of Business/client project planning team to manage the performance of the contract, and to review the evaluation of the programme against its objectives. “Inspired Villages chose the University of Leicester School of Business to deliver a customised executive programme to its cohort of future leaders and a parallel customised programme to its Executive Board. The programmes commenced in March 2020. Notwithstanding the disruption from COVID, the programmes were completed in October 2021. The flexibility and adaptability of the school during unprecedented times enabled the content to be adapted to the emerging needs of Inspired Villages.

The high level of research and input from tutors was first class with a blend of academia and practical case studies to encourage broader thinking and thought leadership across a wide range of business-related topics. Professor Paul Baines and the team also immersed themselves into the organisation’s emerging strategy, philosophy and culture, providing the appropriate level of challenge too.”
