Health
Health research at the University of Leicester has played a leading role in developing key policy responses to the pressing challenges that face us today. Its impact has been harnessed through the award of over £40 million of annual funding for health-related research. In partnership with University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, it has developed a world-leading reputation for addressing healthcare provision, delivery and outcomes.

Justice
Justice is a theme that has urgent relevance to both the policy world, and to many of the research activities undertaken across the University of Leicester. By examining justice through a variety of perspectives, our research draws from collaborative, cross-disciplinary and innovative methods to identify ways of making society safer and fairer for all. In doing so, researchers at the University of Leicester generate evidence which informs improved access to justice and effective responses to injustice.
