Dr Saravana Kumar Jaganathan

My research focuses on the design, development, and testing of advanced biomaterials for medical applications. I specialize in nanofibrous scaffolds for wound healing, cardiac patches, and bone tissue engineering, aiming to mimic native tissue structure and enhance regeneration. A key aspect of my work involves evaluating the mechanical, biological, and functional properties of these materials to ensure clinical relevance. I am also interested in the integration of smart materials and sensor technologies in medical devices. My interdisciplinary approach bridges materials science, biomedical engineering, and translational research to develop innovative, patient-focused healthcare solutions.
