Research

Research interests focus on airway inflammation and the association between inflammation and airway microbial composition in airways disease, in particular severe asthma.

Teaching

Completed postgraduate certificate in Medical Education, module 1, with distinction (Edge Hill University) in April 2015 and has ongoing involvement in postgraduate clinical medicine teaching at the Glenfield Hospital.

Also has experience in facilitating undergraduate practical examinations for Year 3 Medical students at University of Leicester.

In future, I hope to contribute to postgraduate teaching for MSc programs in Infection & Immunity and Chronic Disease & Inflammation.
