I joined the School of Business in October 2017 following the completion of my PhD from Aston University. I have undertaken work as a Research Assistant in the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex delivering research focused on University knowledge transfer office and community engagement performance.

I am interested in understanding the drivers of, and barriers to economic growth of firms, industries, regions, and countries. I employ econometric tools to analyse large-scale datasets.

My current research focuses on small businesses' innovation, internationalisation, and access to finance, as well as university - industry relations.
