Profile

I am a qualified actuary, teacher, writer, lecturer and personal tutor with many years' experience across pensions, insurance and risk management. As well as directing the BSc Mathematics and Actuarial Science.

Research

I am a teaching-focused lecturer.

Supervision

I supervise BSc and MSc students across a range of topics including pensions insurance and climate change.

Teaching

My teaching is mainly focused around macroeconomics, communications, professional skills and employability. I manage the year in industry programme for all mathematics undergraduates. I also run a Readings in Green Economics MSc module each year.
