Profile
Dr Nadia Bousmina is a Teaching Fellow in the School of Business at the University of Leicester. She holds a PhD in Sustainable Banking and brings over a decade of experience in the UK banking sector to her academic role. Her research focuses on sustainable finance, Islamic finance, and financial technology (FinTech), with particular interest in how financial institutions can integrate ethical and technological innovation into sustainable practice. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Dr Bousmina is committed to research led teaching that equips students with analytical rigour and real world insight. Her work aims to strengthen the relationship between academia and industry, contributing to the development of responsible, resilient, and future focused financial systems.
