Profile

I am an international postgraduate researcher affiliated with the School of Healthcare at the University of Leicester. My doctoral research is in the field of Pharmacy Practice. The aim of my research is to conduct an exhaustive examination of the implementation of Automated Unit Dose Systems (AUDS) and their efficacy in reducing Medication Administration Errors (MAEs). These errors, which pose significant risks to patient safety, manifest during the medication administration process within secondary healthcare settings. The overarching objective of my research is to provide valuable insights and guidance into the domain of pharmacy practice by scrutinizing the impact of AUDS on MAE reduction, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of patient care standards.
