Profile
I am a Postgraduate Researcher in the School of Engineering at the University of Leicester. In 2022, I was honoured with a Future 100 Scholarship to conduct research on the project "Developing the virtual asthma patient".
Prior to joining the University of Leicester, I earned my MSc in Applied Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India. During my Master's studies, I have been engaged in a research project named "Positive Solution of a Diffusive Tritrophic Food Chain Model Using Fixed-Point Index-Based Methods''. In which I have studied a diffusive tritrophic food chain model (system of a parabolic partial differential equation), in which species interact via Beddington Deangelis and Crowley Martin functional response under mixed boundary conditions. The analysis aimed to drive conditions that will lead to coexistence of participating species.
I also earned my BSc degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from SRLS Govt. PG College Kaladera, University of Rajasthan, India.
Research
Currently I am working to develop the virtual asthma patient. My research focused on development of a multi-scale computational model, that capture aberrant gene activities and cellular interaction in human lung airways during asthma pathogenesis. In order to develop multiscale model we are approaching agent-based modelling techniques.
My key research interest is in Asthma Remodelling, GRN Networks, Computationally Modelling(Agent-Based Modelling) and Virtual Patients. I am also working to develop some GUI for Virtual Patients.
