Dr Konstantina Sampani

My current research focuses on the interdisciplinary areas of the impact of culture in commercial and maritime alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and the increasing use of technology in this process. I also explore how the new challenges and opportunities arising in cross-border worldwide trading and shipping activities present themselves to policy makers, institutions and arbitrators/mediators when developing rules and practices with a globalised, culture-sensitive nature.

I have been an Associate Professor at the Leicester Law School since May 2022. Prior to my appointment at Leicester, I held academic posts in other UK Universities.
