Joanne Miksza

I'm an epidemiologist who has worked for the University of Leicester since completing my Medical Statistics MSc here. I've worked for both the Leicester Real World Evidence Unit and the Cardiovascular Sciences departments and I'm currently working for the BHF Centre of Research Excellence. I specialise in analysing large electronic health datasets such as the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD), Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) and UK Biobank. My interests include the effects of frailty and demographic inequalities on diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
