Profile

My research explores Earth’s inner magnetosphere, and understanding how wave-particle interactions control the cross-energy coupling of plasma populations through analysis of in situ spacecraft and ground based observations. I have held previous postdoctoral research positions at Northumbria University and the Mullard Space Science Laboratory (UCL), and completed my postgraduate studies at the University of Leicester. Alongside my research I am a member of the MIST Awards Taskforce, as well as a former elected councillor of the Royal Astronomical Society and former elected chair of MIST Council. My community work focuses on increasing inclusion for historically under-served demographics. I am part of the Orbyts Leadership Team, which is a multi-award winning outreach initiative that partners researchers with school students and measurably increases diversity in post-16 STEM uptake.
