Helen Tunnicliffe

Helen is a consultant and advanced practice physiotherapist at the University Hospitals of Leicester, and has been qualified for over 20 years. She has a special interest in the upper limb and is actively involved in research. She is the current Allied Health Professions representative on the British Elbow and Shoulder Society Council, she is the co-lead for the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine, and is also Associate Editor for the Shoulder and Elbow journal. She is currently undertaking a PhD funded by the NIHR Doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship, to develop a model of care for early sling removal in patients who sustain a proximal humerus fracture.
