Profile
I completed my PhD in Psychology at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. My doctoral research, titled “Early Executive Function in Preschoolers: The Role of Maternal, Paternal, and Teacher Mental State Talk and Quality of Parenting”, focused on understanding the developmental role of social and familial factors in early cognitive functioning.
I have been teaching since 2011 and bring extensive experience in teaching, research, and student supervision across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
I joined the University of Leicester as a Teaching Fellow and currently work as an Early Career Fellow, where I contribute to teaching, research supervision, and student support across a range of areas in psychology.
I also have a strong research interest in inclusive education and the development of accessible learning resources, particularly creating multisensory storybooks for children with visual impairments.
