Dr Emma Hayward

Senior GP Specialist Educator

School/Department: Leicester Medical School

I am a GP and medical educator with a particular interest in whole person medicine and spirituality. Alongside clinical work in general practice, I teach at Leicester Medical School and also volunteer with Partnerships in Medical Education (PRiME) which has led to teaching in Ukraine, Russia and online to Kenya. I have held a variety of roles at LMS including communication skills teaching, medical ethics, spirituality, integrated care and primary care. I am chair of the EDI committee for the medical school and lead for Year 3 written assessment.
