Profile
Dr Bernieh is an Early Career Researcher working at the van Geest MultiOmics Facility in the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences. His research interest involves the application of mass spectrometry-based omics approaches to understand how fundamental metabolic processes are altered in multimorbid cardiovascular disease. With a focus on how risk factors are shared across these chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, obesity and heart failure) leading to cardiovascular multimorbidity. He specialises in the identification of novel biological markers for diagnosis, prognosis, early risk stratification and precision medicine interventions.
