Dani Saghafi

Dani has over 20 years of practical experience leading audit engagements and financial due diligence assignments within corporate finance. She has served as a member of the ACCA Council, ICAEW Corporate Finance Faculty Technical Committee and currently serves as a Trustee and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). She entered the higher education sector in 2019, bringing extensive practitioner insight into her teaching and curriculum design. Prior to joining the University of Leicester in 2025, she was a Reader in Accounting at Brunel University of London, where she led the BSc Accounting and Business Management program.
