My specialisms lie in Employment Law and Property Law (especially Housing Law). I have previously worked as a caseworker in the voluntary sector, eventually running a legal aid franchise at a Citizens Advice Bureau. I have also practised as a solicitor at a medium sized firm in the East Midlands and at a larger commercial firm in Birmingham. I am a Chair of the Valuation Tribunal for England and Wales. I have taught on undergraduate, postgraduate and professional law modules since 2007. This has included managing the Legal Practice Course at University of Wolverhampton.
