Profile
I joined Leicester Law School in December 2022 as a Lecturer (teaching focussed). Between September 2019 and December 2022, I was a Lecturer in Law at Royal Holloway University of London. Previously, I was a Teaching Associate at Queen Mary University of London, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Leicester.
Research
I hold a PhD in Law from the University of Leicester. My thesis was on the subject of incitement to commit genocide, focussing on the jurisprudence from the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, and examining the challenges of multi-lingual and multi-cultural trials.
My current research interests lie in the field of international criminal law, primarily the crime of genocide, and incitement to commit genocide and the related field of freedom of expression within the realm of human rights law.
