Profile

After earning my MA in Irish Literature at Queen's University, Belfast, I pursued my PhD at Ulster University, focusing on Northern Irish women's dramatic writing across various historical moments. With the support of a D.E.L. Research Studentship, I completed my PhD in June 2016, and became an associate fellow of Advance HE.

For five years, I worked as a Teaching Associate at the University of Nottingham, where I taught modules that focused on the history, theory and practice of dramatic writing and theatre production. I also developed learning content for the School's online master's programme in Applied English.

More recently, in June 2023, I completed a PGDip in Archives and Records Management through Distance Learning at the University of Dundee. I am now a member of the Archives and Records Association UK and Ireland. Before joining the team at BILNAS, I worked at The National Archives as a Regional Investigator, and at Cotesbach Educational Trust.
