AUCSO is the leading organisation in the UK & Europe for security professionals in Higher and Further Education. Our team were up against the very best in Europe, including the University of Bristol, the campus of the 600th anniversary of the Jagiellonian university revival (Krakow, Poland), Kingston University, the University of Surrey and Southampton Solent University.
Our Security Team are a mostly invisible yet highly effective and professional team, working all hours of the day and night to ensure that every member of staff and every single student on campus feels safe, secure and has the best possible experience at the University.
During 2017 the team dealt with several major incidents, in the most sensible and professional manner and assisted in the Police with the arrest of a serious offender. Their commitment to their work and ability is unparalleled. In our recent staff survey, 93% of staff said that they feel safe and secure in their working environment and the work of our security is a major contributor to this.
