Museum Studies at Leicester

Museum Studies Connect

Since our establishment in 1966, over 3,000 students have graduated with a postgraduate qualification from Museum Studies at Leicester. Many of our graduates keep in close contact with us through our alumni network, Museum Studies Connect, and continue to contribute to our School in a variety of ways – as visiting speakers, associate tutors, student placement hosts, research collaborators and research sponsors.

Museum Studies Connect provides professional development opportunities and networks for all our graduates and now boasts over 1000 members. With many of its members holding senior positions in museums and academic departments both in the UK and internationally, the network is a valuable resource for its members and the School.

If you are a graduate of the School, you can join Museum Studies Connect by filling in a simple online form.

As a member you will be part of our global alumni community, you will be invited to attend and actively contribute to School initiatives and events, and you will receive a bi-annual digital newsletter. Future initiatives include a private LinkedIn group and the opportunity to be a mentor / mentee.
