In this module you will learn how to describe and explain the linear motion of rigid bodies subject to forces. You will learn about Newton’s Laws of motion and their application in various scenarios. Furthermore, you will study the rotational motion of rigid bodies subject to forces and more advanced topics such as oscillations and gravity. Throughout the module there will be a strong focus on developing problem-solving ability including how to use differential equations to solve dynamical problems.
