Leadership and Project Management

Module code: EG4009

In this year-long module, you'll act as project managers for second-year ‘design engineers’. The project-management task emulates a real-world scenario and requires many skills mentioned in the Transferable Skills Framework. You will develop your interpersonal skills (working as a pair; communicating between yourselves and with your second-year team; demonstrating leadership), your planning and problem-solving skills, and your decision-making skills; you also need to develop resilience in order to drive the project forward over the course of an academic year.

Outside of the project-management task, you are asked to consider Engineering ethics and also to reflect on your own professional development.
