To underpin the learning of all healthcare professionals, the course will firstly cover the biology required to enable you to understand how the body works, is regulated, heals itself and protects itself from disease and physical injury. The therapeutic focus for the course will be pain, with all healthcare professions assuming responsibility for its prevention and management within their role.
