Organisational Behaviour
Module code: MN2514
In this module you will explore why people think, feel and behave as they do in the workplace, and examine how these behaviours influence individual, team and organisational performance. Understanding organisational behaviour provides valuable insights into the factors that shape workplace relationships, employee motivation and organisational effectiveness.
You will investigate the influence of individual differences, including personality and ability, on behaviour at work, and explore the theories that explain motivation, job satisfaction and employee performance. The module also examines how groups develop and function, considering the factors that influence teamwork, communication and decision making in organisational settings.
Drawing on contemporary research and real organisational examples, you will analyse the role of organisational culture and climate in shaping employee experiences and organisational outcomes. By the end of the module, you will have developed the knowledge and analytical skills to understand, evaluate and apply organisational behaviour theories to improve both individual wellbeing and organisational performance.
