The final Independent Research Project seeks to provide you with the skills and knowledge to design a robust research proposal. It focuses on identifying research problems, reviewing relevant literature, selecting appropriate methodologies, and crafting a structured and coherent proposal in the field of business and management.

The module prepares you for dissertation research, academic publication, or professional project development. You will be able to produce clear and feasible research questions or hypotheses, conduct a comprehensive review of relevant literature, select and justify appropriate research methodologies and designs, identify and address ethical considerations in research, and develop a well-structured and persuasive research proposal. Issues around ethical considerations in research, budgeting and resource planning, proposal writing techniques, peer review and feedback, will be considered.
