Imaging modalities, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear imaging, are integral to modern clinical diagnosis and treatment planning. Aligning with the competencies required of a CT or MRI Technician/Technologist, this module explores these key modalities, their biomedical applications, and the underlying electrical systems powering them. You will develop hands-on experience in the software processing, manipulation, and analysis of clinical image data. Furthermore, you will conduct a professional risk analysis of data management workflows, evaluating the governance, security protocols, and legislative considerations necessary for the safe, ethical electronic storage and transfer of clinical data.
