RegTech, Ethics and Governance in AI

In this module you will explore how RegTech and SupTech are used to strengthen compliance, oversight and trust in modern financial systems, alongside the ethical and governance challenges created by AI-enabled decision-making.  You will examine how technology supports regulatory reporting, monitoring and control functions, and how governance structures are designed to ensure accountability in technology-driven ecosystems.  

You will develop your understanding of ethical frameworks and responsible innovation, including transparency, auditability, and the role of explainable AI (XAI) in regulated contexts.  Through applied cases, you will evaluate how organisations can balance innovation with compliance, fairness and trustworthy outcomes.
