Digital Safeguarding, Resilience and InsurTech

This module focuses on digital safeguarding and operational resilience in technology-enabled finance, and how innovation is transforming insurance and risk transfer (InsurTech).  You will examine digitally-driven sources of risk such as technology and operational disruption, cyber and fraud-related exposures) and learn how organisations build resilience through structured frameworks, controls and scenario-based thinking.  You will connect these ideas to insurance innovation, considering how data and technology change underwriting, claims processes and the design of insurance products.  

In the module you will develop your ability to evaluate resilience and safeguarding decisions using evidence, and to communicate implications for stakeholders in practice.
