Audiovisual Translation

Translating multimedia texts (content that consists of forms such as text, audio, video and images) into a target language is called audio-visual translation. In this module, you will learn how to subtitle into your target language in a variety of areas using subtitling software and appropriate techniques and strategies. You will be taught in a combination of seminars and workshops with ample opportunities to practice subtitling. Non-assessed formative tasks, including directed reading and translation assignments, are integrated into your learning.
