General Translation

Module code: TS1005

This module is taught via a combination of practical lectures; that will introduce and illustrate the concepts of the translation brief (which specifies the purpose of a translation assignment amongst other details) and skopos, as well as workshops that will offer you ample opportunities to practice translating and discuss your translation choices with your classmates through formative, non-assessed tasks.
