Cross sectional anatomy, physiology and pathology

This module will introduce you to the anatomy and physiology of key body systems such as the reproductive and gastrointestinal etc. Throughout this module lectures, practical workshops and workbooks will teach the structure, physiology and associated pathology. Professional placement will help to embed this knowledge and allow the exploration of differing medical imaging modalities to be evaluated for demonstrating the differing body systems.

You will learn how to identify structures, both normal and abnormal, on a variety of imaging modalities including Computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine.
