Practical Research Skills in Psychology

Module code: PS2103

In this module, you will learn about quantitative and qualitative research design and analysis. You will discover how to apply quantitative analytical procedures to the analysis of questionnaire data, and how to use qualitative analytical procedures to analyse structured interview data. There will be thirty hours of contact time involving lectures and weekly laboratory classes to develop and practice new research skills. By working in small groups in the laboratory classes, you will have the opportunity to develop your collaborative working skills and produce one piece of coursework in your groups.
