Practice Education 5

Module code: PH3006

During this module, you will continue the placement started in your Practice Education modules, completing the 1,000 hours of clinical practice required to qualify as an HCPC and CSP accredited physiotherapist.

In this 5-week practice education placement, you will undertake the role of an independent, autonomous physiotherapy practitioner with a client-centred approach. You will use evidence-based practice when making and justifying clinical decisions with clients, carers and other health care professionals. You will also positively contribute to the quality management of physiotherapy services, showing an understanding of the wider clinical context of your practice. Furthermore, you will display a commitment to lifelong learning and continuous professional development which will prove vital during your practice of physiotherapy.
